00:00 | Luca D'Alberto is a classical composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist from the heart of Italy. His music is visceral with a life beyond itself, cinematic yet personal.
2017 saw the release of 'Endless', D'Alberto's first recording for newly-formed, Berlin-based, neo-classical imprint 7K!. At its heart, 'Endless' is a blood and guts reimagining of what neo-classical can be, passionate and daring, music that jumps out from the shadows at you. Every instrument on the album is performed by D'Alberto himself, with album is engineering by Martyn Heyne and additional production by Henrik Schwarz.
German pianist Niklas Paschburg will also perform on stage. Tapping into the style of Joep Beving and Julien Marchal, he will touch the depths of your soul.
George Papadopolous a.k.a. Hior Chronik is a Berlin-based pianist. He focuses on ambient piano, at the crossing of classical and minimal music. He already collaborated with Australian pianist Sophie Hutchings and will present his newest album on this tour.
00:00 | Niklas Paschburg is only 23 years old - he was born in Hamburg in 1994 - but he knows how to charm and bewitch with melodies and notes; mesmerising sounds and a cinematic atmosphere, intense crescendi and a pop flavour that moves and fascinates..Following his first EP "Tuur mang Welten", he is poised to release his debut album 'Oceanic' with 7K! on 8th February 2018: a moving trip full of both melancholy and energy; twelve instrumental songs between neo-classical, ambient and electronic music, inspired by nature.
00:00 | Born in 1974, Chronik, whose real name is George Papadopoulos, fell in love with music very soon. "I was this little kid with his own notebook writing down all the music he was hearing on the radio, mostly classical and jazz", he tells. "Later on, as a teenager, I started working for the JazzFm radio station in Athens and being closer to great producers helped me learn more about that art I loved so much. Although at that time I didn't have any interest in being a musician or trying something by my own. I was pessimistic". But passion won: while studying Art Conservation and Architecture and attending seminars about photography, Chronik started to experiment with music on his own: "It was a process to discover my hidden charisma", he reveals.
