21:10 - 22:40 | Jens Lekman has been the king of hopeless romantics for years. With a lot of zest, he lets himself be guided by the pop repertoire and wittily bends his songs to their most absurd incarnations. Forest fires and opossums determine the setting of his new record, since Lekman traded Göteborg for Melbourne to write and record 'I Know What Love Isn't'. The surprisingly bare album is released 4 September by Secretly Canadian.
20:00 - 20:40 | Ravens & Chimes recently released their second album: 'Holiday Life'. Their energetic-melancholic songs have been compared to bands such as Arcade Fire from the beginning, a trend that they triumphantly extend on this album. Their irrepressible creativity has its reasons: the son of New York painter Staphen Lack, frontman Asher Lack spent his youth with the likes of Basquiat and Ginsberg, and later on did an internship with Wes Anderson.
